Since January 2020, Sharp has initiated several patent infringement litigations against OPPO in locations such as Tokyo, Japan, and Munich, Germany, aiming to capture the market. Recently, as OPPO’s agency, Zhifan IP Attorneys received two decisions regarding the invalidation of Sharp’s SEPs with application numbers 201010166268.4 and 201010164225.2. China National Intellectual Property Administration ruled that the patents right for both patents were completely invalidated.
